Compliance with Buy America Act Required for
ARRA Grants Only
TEA has revised the General Provisions and Assurances that
apply to all grants awarded by the agency. The revised document is posted on
the Provisions
and Assurances page of the TEA website.
Specifically, the provision requiring compliance with the
Buy America Act has been deleted. That provision applied only to federal grants
issued under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), which
are now all closed.
Compliance with the Buy America Act is not required for any
other federal grants that TEA administers.
