Information on ESSA Requirements for Private School Equitable Services

In accordance with the requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), which supersedes NCLB as of the 2017–2018 grant year, LEAs must take specific actions to ensure the equitable provision of services to private nonprofit schools (PNPs).

Information on those requirements, along with instructions for LEAs and other guidance, is now available on the ESSA Private School Equitable Services page of the TEA website.
