Important News from the Division of Grants Administration: Due Date Today for 2015–2017 High-Quality Prekindergarten Grant Applicants

LEAs that applied and were accepted for the 2015–2017 High-Quality Prekindergarten Grant Program should submit the required response form by 5:00 p.m. today. To confirm that your LEA applied for this grant, and to view your preliminary entitlement estimate, check the list linked in the Announcements section of the House Bill 4 High-Quality Prekindergarten Grant Program page of the TEA website.

The required response form is available for download from the secure GFFC Reports and Data Collections application within TEASE or TEAL.

The form includes specific instructions on how to properly complete and then upload the form back into GFFC Reports and Data Collections. Follow those instructions, outlined below, to avoid receiving an upload error.

1. Log on to TEASE or TEAL.
2. Select “GFFC Reports and Data Collections.”
3. Select “Upload Response Documents.”
4. Select “Response – Prekindergarten Grant Program” from the response template title drop-down list. (Selecting “High Quality Prekindergarten Acceptance/Denial of Funds Designation 2015-2017” or any other title as the response title will create an upload error.)
5. Select the “2015–2017” from the school year drop-down list.
6. Browse for and select the document to be uploaded.
7. Select “Upload Document.”
