Deadline Reminder for All School Districts from the Division of Federal Fiscal Compliance and Reporting

The PR7000—NCLB Private Nonprofit School Participation Report for school year 2015–2016 is due no later than 5:00 p.m. April 1, 2016.

School districts must submit the PR7000 even if no private nonprofit schools chose to participate and even if there are no private nonprofit schools located within the boundaries of the school district.

The PR7000 does not pertain to the following entities:

  • Open-enrollment charter schools
  • South Texas ISD
  • Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired
  • Texas School for the Deaf
  • Texas Juvenile Justice Department
  • Windham School District

The PR7000 form and instructions are available in eGrants through the school district’s Grantee Profile. Review the PR7000 instructions prior to completing the compliance report to ensure accurate reporting of private nonprofit school participation data.

Follow these steps to locate the compliance report form and instructions:

  1. Log on to TEA Secure Environment (TEASE) or TEA Login (TEAL).
  2. From the Application List, select eGrants.
  3. Enter your school district’s county-district-number (CDN).
  4. Select the entry titled “2015–2016 NCLB Consolidated Federal Grant Application”.
  5. Scroll down to the section titled “eGrant Progress/Compliance/Evaluation Reports”.
  6. Open Form Description “2015-2016 NCLB Private Nonprofit Participation Report”.

The “Instructions” button is located in the upper right corner of the form. For additional details regarding the PR7000, refer to the To the Administrator Addressed letter posted to the TEA Correspondence page on February 16, 2016.

Failure to Submit the PR7000

If your school district fails to submit the PR7000 by the Friday, April 1, 2016, deadline, TEA may elevate the school district’s risk assessment level, which may then lead to a referral for subrecipient monitoring.
