Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP) Program Update

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP) Program is now accepting applications for the Emissions Reduction Incentive Grants (ERIG) Program. Grant funds are available to upgrade or replace older heavy-duty vehicles (including school buses), non-road equipment, locomotives, marine vessels, and stationary equipment.
ERIG applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on November 30, 2012.
New grant application forms are now available on our Web site: http://www.terpgrants.org. Any previous versions of the application forms will not be accepted.
Eligible counties for this grant cycle include: Bastrop, Bexar, Brazoria, Caldwell, Chambers, Collin, Comal, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fort Bend, Galveston, Gregg, Guadalupe, Hardin, Harris, Harrison, Hays, Hood, Jefferson, Johnson, Kaufman, Liberty, Montgomery, Nueces, Orange, Parker, Rockwall, Rusk, San Patricio, Smith, Tarrant, Travis, Upshur, Victoria, Waller, Williamson, Wilson, and Wise.
Upcoming ERIG Workshops:
Several Grant Application Workshops, Dealer Trainings, and Application Assistance Sessions have been scheduled to provide an overview of the ERIG application process.
The ERIG program has several new changes this year. Please plan to attend a workshop to learn more about new program requirements and new grant application forms.
