New Air Quality Lesson Plan and Webpage

Teachers and parents now have a way to introduce the idea of air quality to their students with our new TEKS-aligned air quality lesson plan designed for 3rd - 5th graders. Students will be introduced to the basics of air quality and learn how to discover the current air quality in their area. There is an accompanying handout and a new air quality web page for additional reference material.

Hurricane Laura made landfall last week and caused damage and flooding for some Texans in Beaumont, Port Arthur and surrounding areas. Still, hurricane season isn’t over just yet. We want to share this free resource so you can teach your students or children about flood safety.
