Preparing a Permit Renewal Application?
Ensure your Facility’s Notice of Registration (NOR) information is correct and current. Inaccurate or outdated information will cause delays. For assistance in updating your NOR, contact Permitting Registration & Support at 512-239-6413.
Ensure your application and all applicable calculations include the most recent National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) updated precipitation frequency estimates. The newly published values may affect portions of the renewal application such as: siting criteria, 100-year flood plain, engineering reports, closure plans/closure cost estimates, etc.
Planning a permit transfer and want a smooth, quick process?
Contact I&HW staff to schedule a pre-application conference call. I&HW staff will involve the TCEQ Financial Assurance Section to ensure the new applicant’s financial assurance and capability requirements are identified and addressed prior to application submittal.
To follow the I&HW RCRA rule packages through the TCEQ rulemaking process, please visit the TCEQ Rules and Rulemaking page: https://www.tceq.texas.gov/rules/rules_rulemaking.html.
