The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) is the region’s largest public transit provider, offering safe, reliable and affordable transportation services about 370,000 times per day. Entire Red Line to Shut Down this Weekend

The entire Red Line will temporarily shut down this weekend due to rail expansion work and scheduled rail maintenance.

WHEN: Friday, Oct. 24, 8 p.m. until normal service resumes Monday, Oct. 27, at 4:30 a.m.

WHERE: All rail stations will be closed; no service from the Northline Transit Center to Fannin South. 

METRO will operate "700 Rail Shuttle" buses every 10 minutes during regular rail service hours.
