Public's Help Sought In Identifying Robbery Suspects

Men Wanted in Connection with Robberies Caught on Tape

Robbery suspects sought

The two robbery suspects are shown here at a convenience store located near the Hillcroft Transit Center on October 20, the day of the second incident.

The METRO Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying two of three suspects believed responsible for the aggravated robbery of three individuals on October 7, at the Hillcroft Transit Center (6220 Southwest Freeway). The suspects are also connected to another robbery near the transit center on October 20.

Please click here for video from the first incident which resulted in the shooting of one METRO patron.  That video and the photographs below show two men who are wanted in connection with both incidents. The crimes occurred about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7.  The two robbed three people using a gun. One of those victims was shot in the back as he tried to run from the robbers.

A second incident was reported near that same location on the afternoon of Monday, October 20 at approximately 1:30 p.m. This crime resulted in a victim being shot twice in the chest, again by a small caliber gun. The victim was later taken to Ben Taub Hospital where he was operated on for non-life-threatening injuries. The description of the suspects in this case matches that of the October 7 robberies.

The robbers may have gotten away in a white VW Jetta driven by the third suspect.
