Tip Leads to Arrest of METRORail Robbery and Theft Suspect

Kassell Justice, the 18-year-old linked to a string of robberies and thefts dating back to June; a few of which took place along METRORail, is now in police custody.

Justice was arrested without incident on Friday, Sept. 12, and booked into the Harris County Jail by the Houston Police Department's Fugitive Squad.

METRO and Crime Stoppers Houston turned to the public last month for their help in locating Justice. A tip to Crime Stoppers is what led to the suspect's whereabouts.

Justice is suspected in at least six thefts and robberies, some of which where captured by METRORail station platform security cameras.

The teen currently faces three charges of theft of person and may face more.
