Weekend Partial METRORail Closure

METRORail expansion construction will continue over the weekend, prompting the partial closure of the Red Line.

No METRORail service will be available between the Downtown Transit Center and the Northline Transit Center.  The closure begins Friday, June 27 at
8 p.m. until normal service resumes Monday, June 30, at 4:30 a.m.

METRO will operate "700 Rail Shuttle" buses every 10 minutes during regular rail service hours. Customers should expect longer travel times during this service interruption.
