Meeting to Offer East End Input on METRO Harrisburg Overpass Design

METRO Invites Public Comment on Design

METRORail continues construction and train testing on the East End Line as it listens to community input on design for the new Hughes Street Overpass.

 

METRO is inviting comment from the East End community as it moves forward with designs for the new Harrisburg Overpass to be located on Harrisburg Boulevard at the rail road crossing just west of Hughes Road. A public meeting, with an open house format, will be offered Tuesday, July 1 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.at METRO's Service & Inspection Facility, 5880 Texas Avenue.

Conceptual layouts for the proposed Harrisburg Overpass can be viewed and commented on from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. July 1, 2, 3, and 7, 2014 in the Community Room of the Service & Inspection Facility.
