Weekend METRORail Service Interruption

METRO rail expansion work will require the partial shutdown of the Red Line over the weekend.

No METRORail service will be available between the Downtown Transit Center and the Northline Transit Center. The closure begins at 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 18, until normal service resumes at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, April 20.

METRO will operate "700 Rail Shuttle" buses every 10 minutes during regular rail service hours.

Please click here to view the map marked with shuttle bus locations.  Customers should expect longer travel times during the service interruption.
