Several METRO services will be modified during a march planned for Tuesday afternoon in downtown Houston. Numerous routes will be impacted, including Park & Ride and local bus. Customers are asked to review the planned modifications and adjust travel plans accordingly. Delays should be expected.
Park & Ride:
- Service will be limited from all downtown Houston stops with outbound service ending at 1 p.m. and lasting until the crowds have cleared the area.
METRORail:
- Purple and Green lines service will be suspended from EaDo/ Stadium to Theater District stations beginning at noon until the area is cleared.
- Red Line service will be suspended between Wheeler to Burnett stations beginning at noon until the area is cleared.
Local Bus:
- Routes with stops in downtown Houston will experience detours and delays beginning at noon until the area is cleared.
Customers are reminded to please monitor METRO's Twitter and Facebook pages for timely updates. METRO also offers real-time information through its service alerts system.
