Green Line Service Restored

Emergency Repairs Near Completion

Repair work along METRORail's Green Line was completed this afternoon. Rail service is now running as scheduled from Theater District Station to the Magnolia Transit Center. This follows yesterday's restoration of service along the north extension of the Red Line.

A partial shutdown on the Purple Line remains in effect from EaDo/ Stadium Station to Palm Center Station as work to reinforce overhead electrical wires continues. Emergency repairs were started last week as a safety precaution on all three of the rail lines after two wire breaks were detected.

Free bus shuttles are available along the Purple Line to transport customers. It is expected service will be fully restored by the end of the week.
