METRO Sweetens the Deal to Attract Experienced Mechanics

Cash Incentives Offered to New  Hires 

METRO is looking for experienced mechanics and is offering cash incentives up to $4000 to new hires who qualify. The specific positions in the program include air conditioning & heat mechanics, collision repair technicians, and bus mechanics. The incentives are tied to skill level and will be paid to new employees over a period of time.

"We maintain our fleet of more than 1200 buses. Our mechanics play an integral role in our ability to provide the public safe and reliable service. We are excited METRO's Board of Directors is supporting this endeavor to attract experienced, skilled workers in an extremely competitive job market," said METRO President & CEO Tom Lambert.
