The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) is the region’s largest public transit provider, offering safe, reliable and affordable transportation services about 370,000 times per day. Besides operating more than 1,200 buses on METRO’s network, METRORail's system includes the Red Line (Main Street and Northline), Green Line (East End) and Purple Line (Southeast). Rope A Ride

Visitors to Rodeo Houston can rope a ride with METRO to avoid traffic and parking hassles. There are several transit options available including local bus serviceMETRORail and shuttle services.

Rides on METRORail and local bus are just $1.25 and children 5 years and under ride for free. Round-trip shuttles from Maxey Road Park & Ride, Monroe Park & Ride and the West Loop Transit Center cost $4 and the North Shepherd Park & Ride is $6.50.

Visitors who want quick access to the festivities can park one stop away from NRG Park at the Fannin South Transit Center for $20 (cash only). Everyone in your vehicle receives a round-trip rail ticket. 

Fares can be paid by  Q Mobile Ticketing, METRO Q® Fare Card, METRO Day Pass and cash.

  • Monday - Saturday 1:40 a.m. and Sunday 11:24 p.m.

Last eastbound train from Central Station Rusk to Palm Center Transit Center

  • Monday - Saturday 2:13 a.m. and Sunday 12:23 a.m.
