Go 'Stros! Ride METRORail to Watch World Series Games
Delays and Detours Expected on Some Routes Due to Road Closures for Championship Games
 METRO buses are sporting a new message, "Go Astros!" It's just one example of how the agency is gearing up to welcome the World Series to town.
 Starting tonight, METRORail rides are free for fans with tickets to the World Series watch parties and games at Minute Maid Park.

Some of the streets near the ballpark will be closed during the series. METRO is detouring routes impacted by those closures. Delays should be expected.
METRO hopes the free rail rides will help relieve some of the traffic congestion. Riders can sign up for text alerts and follow METRO on social media to stay up to date on route detours and changes.
