All HOV/ HOT lanes will be open Wednesday, Sept.6, including the I-45 North HOV/ HOT lane. Additionally, METRO is opening two portions of the popular Route 46 Gessner. A portion of that route remains impassable due to flooding.
The northern portion will operate from Tidwell at Fairbanks and end at a temporary stop near the Walmart at 10750 Westview Dr. north of Interstate 10. The second part will run from Westheimer at Woodway south to the current end of the 46 Gessner at Fondren and Meadow.
These routes will operate every 15 minutes until the permanent route is restored.
METRO will also resume service on the 51 Hardy/ Kelly Wednesday morning on its regular 30-minute schedule with detours.
Work continues to resume
operations on a handful of routes still being evaluated.

- 153 Harwin Express
- 161 Wilcrest Express
- 162 Memorial Express
