METRO wants you to Dump the Pump and save. On Thursday, June 15, 2017, METRO will offer free rides on our system.

"Taking mass transit instead of driving saves riders more than $816 per month on average. METRO is thrilled to join with nearly 100 agencies across the country as we encourage everyone to consider the savings and economic opportunity public transportation provides," said METRO President & CEO Tom Lambert.

METRO's street teams will be at park & ride lots and transit centers to assist first-time riders and say thank you to our current customers. To show our appreciation, METRO will also award prizes to customers every hour that day beginning at 7 a.m. Just take a selfie while riding the system and upload it to METRO’s Twitter, Facebook or Instagram pages to be part of the random drawings. Prizes will be provided by our Dump the Pump partners.
