METRORail Red and Green Line Service Suspended, HOV Closed, Buses Detoured Due to High Water Across Houston Area

Operations affected by this morning's extreme rainfall include:

  • METRORail Green Line suspended
  • Purple Line Service only between Palm Center and EADO
  • Red Line Service suspended.
  • ALL METRO HOV lanes are currently closed
  • Bus Routes currently affected by high water with significant delays expected: 9,14,41,65,162,265
  • Bus Routes that use HOV Lanes that will use alternative routes include:
