METRO Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, METRO will operate the following schedule:

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 23, 2016

  • Local bus routes will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
  • Select Park & Ride routes will operate additional trips from Downtown as follows:

          Service every 15 minutes:

  • 209 Kuykendahl/Spring (12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.)
  • 219 West Little York/Northwest Station/Cypress (12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.) Note: Route will serve Cypress Park & Ride this day only  
  • 229 Addicks/Kingsland/Grand Parkway (12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.) Note: Route will serve Grand Parkway Park & Ride this day only
  • 249 Monroe/Fuqua/Bay Area (Noon to 3 p.m.)
  • 259 Eastex/Townsen/Kingwood (12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.)
  • 269 Hillcroft/Westwood/ West Bellfort (Noon to 3 p.m.)    

           Service every 30 minutes:

  • 236 Maxey Road/Baytown

Park & Ride routes NOT listed above will operate regular p.m. service starting at 3 p.m. Please check your route’s schedule for correct times.

  • METRORail service will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

THURSDAY, NOV. 24 (THANKSGIVING DAY)

  • Local bus routes will operate on a Sunday schedule.
  • Park & Ride routes WILL NOT operate on this day.
  • METRORail service will operate on a Sunday schedule.

FRIDAY, NOV. 25

  • Local bus service will operate on a Sunday schedule. 
  • Park & Ride routes WILL NOT operate on this day.
  • METRORail service will operate on a Saturday schedule.

SATURDAY, NOV. 26 and SUNDAY, NOV. 27

  • Local bus service will operate regular weekend schedules.
  • Park & Ride routes WILL NOT operate on these days.
  • METRORail service will operate regular weekend schedules.

METROLIFT HOLIDAY HOURS

METROLift Reservations and Customer Service offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25. As a result, all Thursday and Friday subscription trips will be cancelled. To schedule a ride for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday, please call METROLift Reservations at 713-225-6716 on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Reservation hours will be extended until 7 p.m. to give customers additional time to schedule trips for multiple days. You may also schedule a trip from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. the day before you need to travel by using MACS at 713-225-6716 or MACS-WEB at RideMETRO.org.

Friday, Nov. 25 - 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

RIDE STORE AND LOST & FOUND HOURS 

The METRO Ride Store and Lost & Found will be open on Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on Thursday, Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving Day), Friday, Nov. 25, Saturday, Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 27.
