METRO Salutes Heroes with Free Ride on Veterans Day Nov. 11

vet

METRO will salute veterans and active military personnel by waiving their fares on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016.

The free Veterans Day rides apply to METRO's local bus, METRORail, METROLift, and Park & Ride service.  Veterans and active-duty military patrons need only inform fare inspectors or operators of their service status in order to have the fare waived.

Service members and others traveling to the City of Houston's Annual "Houston Salutes American Heroes" Veterans Day Celebrations are encouraged to use METRO's Rider Tools to plan their trip.
