Scheduled Service Interruption

Rail Shuttle Buses to Provide Coverage During METRORail Purple Line Service Interruption

WHEN: Wednesday, Aug. 10 - Thursday, Aug. 11 between the hours of 9:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. (service will resume on a normal schedule at 4:27 a.m.)

WHERE: Between EADO / Stadium and Palm Center Transit Center stations on the METRORail Purple Line

WHY: METRO is working with its partners to accommodate the installation of an aerial powerline created by CenterPoint.

METRO customers will experience uninterrupted service thanks to our "900 Rail Shuttle" buses, which will run along the impacted segment. Shuttles are scheduled to arrive every 18 minutes and METRO personnel will be available to provide assistance. Please refer to the map for shuttle locations. Please note that bus service requires additional travel time, so please allow more time for your trip.

METRORail Green Line service will not be impacted, and rail service between EADO / Stadium and Theater District stations will not be interrupted.
