The momentum continues on METRO's Green Line. Beginning Sunday, Jun. 12, traffic along Harrisburg between Cesar Chavez and Lockwood will once again be able to travel east and west on the boulevard for quick and easy access to area businesses located in one of Houston's most vibrant and unique communities.
Crews have worked tirelessly over the last few months to expedite completion of the access road.
Once complete, the Harrisburg Overpass will take light-rail trains and cars over the busy Union Pacific East Belt freight line and provide a critical link for the Green Line to METRO's Magnolia Transit Center.
