Track Work Necessitates METRORail Service Adjustments - Updated with Sunday Time

METRORAIL SERVICE ADJUSTED FOR TRACK MAINTENANCE & UPGRADES

SHUTTLES TO KEEP RIDERS MOVING DURING RAIL SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS

RED LINE SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS

Track maintenance will require adjustments to service on METRORail's Red Line this weekend. Shuttle buses labeled "700 Rail Shuttle" will offer rides every 10 minutes starting at 6:30 a.m. on the days and places shown below. Maps provided here can be expanded to show exact shuttle locations. 


  • Saturday, June 11 - NO rail operations between Fannin South and Smith Lands after midnight until 2 p.m.  (If maintenance upgrades are not completed on Saturday, the work will be extended to Sunday.)
  • Sunday, June 12 - NO rail operations between Northline Transit Center/HCC and Downtown Transit Center after 11 p.m. Normal operations will resume at 4:40 a.m. on Monday, June 13.

GREEN/PURPLE LINE SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS

Construction near the Convention District station will affect Green/Purple Line service.

  • Sunday, June 12 through Wednesday, June 15 - NO rail operations between Altic/Howard Hughes and Theater District stations from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m.
