National Weather Center Predicts System Will Impact Area

Due to the threat of flooding and the assessment of conditions by the Harris County Office of Emergency Management, METRO may alter routes and/or suspend transportation services over the next 24 hours.  The changes could include local and park and ride buses, rail, HOV/HOT Lanes and METROLift service. Customers are encouraged to put in place their emergency plans and communicate with family and places of employment as well as monitor weather conditions via news media reports. METRO will also update changes via Twitter and Facebook.
