Texas Workplace Illness and Injury Rates

Each year, DWC compiles data on work-related injuries and illnesses that happen in Texas for the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. DWC releases these reports to the public to help employers, safety professionals, and policymakers identify workplace safety and health issues.

Online OSHA 10 Hour Class

Free Online OSHA 10-Hour Construction Class

The OSHA 10-Hour class offers live instruction and interactive class participation through Zoom. This class covers the basics of construction safety, industry-specific OSHA standards and requirements, and safety awareness to help employees find and reduce job site hazards. Participants receive an OSHA 10-Hour Construction card within eight weeks after course completion.

Free Online Safety Consultations

The Texas OSHA Consultation Program (OSHCON) offers online consultations. Our OSHCON consultants are available by video conferencing, email, text, or phone. We can help you find, reduce, and remove safety and health hazards, and understand OSHA standards.

OSHCON also provides:

  • Help with safety and health programs
  • Free safety training materials and publications
