5 Tips to Prevent Back Injuries

In 2015, there were 7,790 cases where back injuries forced private sector employees to take days off work. Our tips can help you prevent back pain and injuries.

Free Workplace Posters Reminder

You can get required workers’ compensation notices on the DWC website. Non-subscribers should download and post Notice 5, subscribers need to use Notice 6, and self-insured companies need Notice 7. All notices are available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Also, you need to post Notice 8 if you perform building or construction projects for governmental entities, and Notice 9 for law enforcement, fire fighters, emergency medical services, paramedics, and correctional officers.

The Texas Workforce Commission has a list of other required and optional posters for Texas workplaces.
