5 Workplace Ergonomic tips

Bureau of Labor Statistics data from 2015 shows that in Texas’ private industry there were 130 cases of work-related tendonitis/carpal tunnel syndrome and 610 cases caused by small, repetitive motion tasks. Our ergonomics tips can help reduce these risks in the workplace.

Drive Safely Work Week: October 2 - 6

The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety offers free campaign materials to engage and educate your employees about safe driving habits. This year’s theme is “Safe Driving is Serious Business.” Visit the DWC driving safety website for more resources and information about occupational driving safety programs. 

Fire Prevention Week: October 8 - 14

The U.S. Fire Administration has created a free toolkit with videos, handouts, checklists, and social share cards. The Texas State Fire Marshal’s office also offers free downloadable safety publications addressing a wide range of fire safety issues, and DWC publications include:
