May 8-12 marks the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration’s (OSHA) annual National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in
Construction campaign. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that falls remain
one of the leading causes of fatalities in construction in Texas, but you can
take these steps to prevent falls and save lives.

Free OSHA 10-Hour Construction Classes
Learn about safety requirements and hazard recognition for the construction industry. Participants who complete the course get a completion card. Classes taught in both English and Spanish and held in Austin, El Paso, Fort Worth, Houston, La Marque, and San Antonio.
