Register for
February Designated Doctor Certification Training
Designated Doctors are
selected by the Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) to make a
recommendation about an injured employee's medical condition or resolve a
dispute about a work-related injury or occupational illness.
Doctors can now register for
the two-day training February 24-25, 2017 at the Hilton Austin Airport Hotel.
- New and renewing designated
doctors will learn at a faster pace through interactive case-based
instruction that starts before your training begins.
- Important information to help
doctors make accurate determinations of maximum medical improvement (MMI),
impairment rating (IR), extent of injury (EOI), return to work (RTW), and other
issues.
- New designated doctors should
take the one-day Designated Doctor 101 training prior to this
certification training.
