Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) and Adult Safety Net (ASN) provider,
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shared updates on vaccine availability impacting the TVFC and ASN programs. The information below includes the following updates:

- Vaccine Choice

On July 1, 2024, one vaccine was added to the TVFC program, and two vaccines were added to the ASN program.

Vaccine Choice for Providers
In accordance with Tex. Health & Safety Code §161.01035, TVFC and ASN providers are allowed to choose preferred vaccine brands and presentations from formularies. Providers may update their vaccine choice to select alternative products to order. Instructions on how to update choice in VAOS is located here.
