Flu Season is Here, Get Vaccinated

Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) encourages Texans to get the flu shot to protect against flu illness. You can promote flu vaccination by using these resources. 

 

Order Flu Educational Print Materials through the DSHS Immunization Publication Order Form. Materials are always free unless expedited shipping is requested.

  

Download the Flu Social Media Toolkit and create a tailored flu messaging campaign. The toolkit includes:  

  • social media images 
  • guide to using the images  
  • post copy  

 

After getting the flu vaccine keep yourself and the community safe by:  

  • practicing hand hygiene 
  • covering your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing 
  • avoiding close contact with sick people 
  • staying home if you are sick 
  • disinfecting frequently touched surfaces
