The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has updated its timeline for notifications of awards under all seven Tier 2 COVID-19 in Healthcare Relief Grant RFAs.
The anticipated months in which payments will be issued to awarded applicants are as follows:
- Intermediate Care Facilities (RFA HHS0011334): December 2022
- Rural Hospitals (RFA HHS0011335): December 2022
- Assisted Living Facilities (RFA HHS0011336): December 2022
- Nursing Facilities (RFA HHS0011337): December 2022
- Home Health Agencies (RFA HHS0011339): December 2022
- Non-Consumer Directed Services (Non-CDS) Community Attendants (RFA HHS0011338): December 2022
- Consumer Directed Services (CDS) Community Attendants (RFA HHS0011792): January 2023
For the timeline of payment issuance: Once a funding agreement has been executed in HHSC’s system, HHSC has 30 days to issue award payment to the beneficiary.
Note: If an application is selected for award, awarded funds can be used for eligible expenses incurred on or after the Project Period start date and on or before the Project Period end date.
All applicants will be contacted by HHSC via email regarding the final status of their application once award decisions are finalized.
