IQIP Core Strategy: Strengthening Vaccination Communication

The fourth IQIP Core Strategy focuses on strengthening vaccination communications which play a vital role in ensuring children and adolescents are properly vaccinated.

As a vaccine provider, you can strengthen vaccine communication by engaging parents and patients through the increase use of positive vaccination messaging, providing accurate, easily accessible information on vaccines, and through effective vaccine education with parents. Read more here.

PCV20 Provider Memo

As of March 3^rd, 2022, the ASN program replaced PCV13 (Prevnar13) with the new pneumococcal conjugate vaccine PCV20 (Prevnar20) in the Vaccine Allocation and Ordering System (VAOS) for adults ages 19-64. Click here for more information on this new vaccine.

National Infant Immunization Week – April 24^th through April 30^th

National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) highlights the importance of protecting infants and young children from vaccine-preventable diseases. This year, a primary focus is to ensure families stay on track for their children’s well-child visits and routinely recommended vaccinations.

Adolescent Toolkit Webinar Series – April through June 2022

Adolescent providers join us for a six-part lunch and learn series focusing on the importance of adolescent vaccines. We will cover the recommended adolescent vaccines, such as HPV, MenACWY, MenB, and Tdap, as well as discuss strategies for effective communication and vaccine inclusion.
