GL 21-1006 Emergency Rule for End Stage Renal Disease Off-Site Facilities During the COVID-19 Pandemic

GL 21-1006 regarding the passage of emergency rules for end stage renal disease (ESRD) off-site facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic has been posted. This emergency rule permits a currently licensed ESRD facility to request HHSC approval to temporarily operate an off-site outpatient facility without obtaining a new license in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This letter explains the emergency rule and the application process.
