We know many providers are still trying to reopen, recover, and get their patients caught up; we can see the evidence in the increasing number of doses ordered and administered each month. Many providers are also finding creative solutions to work together with other practice locations and alter office procedures to allow safe vaccination services.

Vaccine Choice Opening August 10
Beginning Monday, August 10, providers may update vaccine choices through the Electronic Vaccine Inventory (EVI) system. In EVI, the "Update Choice" tab will be open at 10 a.m. on August 10, 2020, and close at 3 p.m. on August 21, 2020.
The next opportunity for providers to update their vaccine choice(s) will be November 2020.
Correct Hours of Operation in the Electronic Vaccine Inventory (EVI) System
As the back-to-school season brings increased vaccine ordering, ensure that provider hours of operation are correct in EVI. A provider’s hours must be entered in military time and be compliant with Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) and Adult Safety Net (ASN) policy.
According to page 42 of the TVFC and ASN Provider Manual, appropriate staff must be on site and available at least one day a week other than Monday and for at least four consecutive hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Clinics with non-compliant hours risk delivery errors and extended wait times for vaccine shipments and must be resolved promptly. Click here for more instructions on entering hours into EVI.
