Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Dan Wilmot of Big Spring as director of the Office of State-Federal Relations (OSFR). The director acts as a liaison between the state and the federal government, helps coordinate state and federal programs, and informs the governor and Legislature of federal programs that may be carried out in the state or that affect state programs.
