Gov. Rick Perry has reappointed Patrick R. Gordon of El Paso to the Rio Grande Compact Commission for a term to expire June 9, 2019. The commission administers the Rio Grande Compact, an agreement between Colorado, New Mexico and Texas, to ensure that Texas receives an equitable share of quality water from the Rio Grande and its tributaries.
