Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Jean "Jeanne" Olinger of Wichita Falls to the Texas Funeral Service Commission for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2013. The board oversees the licensing of funeral directors and embalmers, and ensures their compliance with state statutes and regulations regarding funeral services, cemeteries and crematories.
