Jesus “Jay” Chapa, a respected leader with broad experience in local government, was sworn in as Fort Worth’s next City Manager during a City Council ceremony.
Chapa is no stranger to Fort Worth City Hall. During more than two decades of service, he has made a lasting impact across Fort Worth, where he has championed progress and built strong neighborhood and community relationships. Welcome back Jay!

FWPD Launches New Website
New site, https://police.fortworthtexas.gov/, offers a more effortless navigation experience with a modern, user-friendly look to include news, media, and social media categories.
ENGAGEMENT
Set to open this spring, The Betsy Price Community Center located at 8375 Blue Mound Rd, will be a dynamic hub for residents. There will be several meeting rooms, a culinary type kitchen, state-of-the-art fitness room, group fitness room, basketball gym and more. Community Center Coordinator, Victoria Leach and Team shared that an after school program as well as other programming: current classes under contract are Tai Chi, Floorball, Art Classes, Soccer Skills, Ballet/Tap/Tumbling, Cricut Classes, Gardening, Bingo & more are coming!

Completion of signal light installation at the intersection of Litsey Rd & Independence Parkway, across from Northwest ISD's Cox Elementary School, is scheduled for the the last week of February to the first week in March.
