FWCC is open to all, offering gently used clothing for free to anyone in need. Whether you're looking for a new outfit for work, your child needs clothes for school, or you just want to shop sustainably, our closet is here for you.
In addition to the closet, they host clothing drives, swaps, and other initiatives to promote sustainability and keep textiles out of landfills. By donating, volunteering, or shopping with us, you’re helping to make a positive impact in Fort Worth.

PROCESS FOR ADDRESSING HOMELESS ENCAMPMENTS
HOMELESS ENCAMPMENT RESPONSE PROCESS
The City of Fort Worth works closely with the HOPE Team and DRC Solutions to address concerns about homeless encampments on public and private property. When a resident submits a report through the MyFW app, the HOPE Team responds by visiting the site, offering services, and warning campers about the need to vacate. DRC Solutions provides additional outreach, connecting individuals to housing and resources.
Councilwoman Jeanette Martinez recognizes the challenges this issue presents for both residents and those experiencing homelessness. Her office is actively working with city teams and the community to address these concerns thoughtfully and effectively.
For public property, once the site is vacated, Environmental Services handles debris removal with HOPE Team oversight. On private property, Code Compliance notifies the owner, allowing time for cleanup or coordinating services if needed. The City’s goal is to approach each situation with care and compassion, focusing on connecting those in need with available resources while ensuring community spaces remain safe and clean.

PROCESO DE RESPUESTA A CAMPAMENTOS DE PERSONAS SIN HOGAR
La Ciudad de Fort Worth trabaja en colaboración con el Equipo HOPE y DRC Solutions para abordar las preocupaciones sobre los campamentos de personas sin hogar en propiedades públicas y privadas.
