City of Fort Worth offers multiple vaccine locations to CFW staff, families

April 2021 declared COVID-19 Vaccine Education and Awareness Month

As we continue to work together to fight the COVID-19 virus and build the widespread community protection needed to get back to the normal, enjoyable parts of life we all have missed, getting the City of Fort Worth’s workforce vaccinated is a critical step in getting there.

The State of Texas has opened vaccine availability to all, so now is the time to make sure we continue to provide staff and families options to sign up and receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Along with securing vaccine locations, we understand the importance of sharing fact-based information that will provide details on how vaccines work, the types of vaccines available, what to expect before and after your vaccine appointment, and other helpful tidbits that will help you navigate as you make important health decisions for you and your family. Be on the lookout for COVID-19 vaccine information starting tomorrow.

City of Fort Worth employees and their family members have options through city-staffed, public locations and the Texas Health Resources network.

All employees and all relatives -- even those not enrolled with the city’s health plan -- can utilize city-staffed, public locations. These vaccines are offered in collaboration with Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH).

Fort Worth employees, along with their spouses and dependents who are enrolled in the city’s health plan, have the option to register for COVID-19 vaccinations provided by Texas Health Resources at several locations in the area. Employees who are not on the city’s health plan cannot select this option at this time.

Texas Health Resources vaccine sites

THR is offering vaccinations for patients age 16 and above at three locations in Tarrant County and additional locations around DFW. Appointments are required ahead of time via THR’s online system.

City of Fort Worth public vaccine sites

City of Fort Worth staff continue to offer vaccinations at two locations through the TCPH system for patients 18 and up:

  • Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex, 505 W. Felix St.
  • Farrington Field, 1501 University Drive.

To register for any of these locations, complete this web form. THR or City of Fort Worth staff will coordinate with you to finalize appointments.
