Request for city staff at vaccination sites

In order to provide some much-needed downtime to our city staff members who have been diligently working at our local COVID-19 vaccine clinics, we are reaching out to employees for your assistance next week.

We need up to 15 additional people to support vaccination operations from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on various days Monday-Saturday, March 15-20.

You do not have to work every day but are asked to sign up for at least two or three days, if possible, during your normal work schedule.

Duties will include vaccine site registration, form review, scribes for vaccine cards, observations, cleaning and general site support/other duties.

Volunteers do not administer vaccines.

Training should only last a few hours and can be scheduled for 1 – 5 p.m. Friday, March 12, or Saturday, March 13, 8 a.m. – noon or 1 – 5 p.m.  Training will take place at Farrington Field, 1501 University Drive.

To sign up or for more information call or email,

Juli Ragland, Julianne.Ragland@fortworthtexas.gov, 682-309-8826; or

Art Franco, Arturo.Franco@fortworthworthtexas.gov, 817-995-0816.

These vaccination clinics provide a life-changing experience -- for the public and volunteers alike -- and your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for stepping up and showing support for our fellow Fort Worth residents and others during these challenging times.

As a side note, if you have registered and are still waiting to get your COVID-19 vaccine, please email Kimberly Tyler Kimberly.tyler@fortworthtexas.gov.
