Fort Worth has many heros
Hurricane Harvey took a large portion of homes, possessions, and sadly in some cases lives . What it didn't take was our love of neighbor and Texas pride. The overwhelming support for our fellow Texans was moving and inspiring. Hand in hand many from around our city, and other areas within the state of Texas, linked arms to assist our fellow Texan in need. So it was no surprise that the city of Fort Worth sent 100 plus of our brothers and sisters in Blue to assist in relief efforts from Hurricane Harvey. Without hesitation these heroes from police, fire and medical teams, stepped up to be present at a moments notice. Thank you to the many citizens that donated food, water, clothing and joined our office along with the mayor's in making welcome cards to the evacuees. The support was surpassing, but as we all know, everything is Bigger and Better in Texas.....even the love for those in need.
