The Loop 1604 & I-10 interchange will be open during the day (5 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
Major traffic impacts at the interchange will take place overnight (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will require closures for bridge construction:
- Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) mainlanes from Hausman Road to La Cantera Parkway
- Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes and connected cloverleafs at the I-10 interchange
- I-10 WB mainlanes at the Loop 1604 interchange
- I-10 EB mainlanes and connected cloverleafs at the Loop 1604 interchange
- I-10 EB frontage road south of Loop 1604
These nighttime closures are expected from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2025 through Monday, June 16, 2025, weather permitting. Law enforcement will direct traffic through intersections during this time, as needed. Please follow detour signage.
DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 EB Mainlanes
Travelers on the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes will exit via the exit ramp to Hausman Road and follow the Loop 1604 EB frontage road, re-entering the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes via the entrance ramp after La Cantera Parkway.
Loop 1604 WB Mainlanes and to I-10 EB
Travelers on the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes will exit via the exit ramp to Lockhill Selma Road and follow the Loop 1604 WB frontage road through the I-10 interchange, re-entering the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes via the first available entrance ramp. Those looking to access I-10 EB will follow the I-10 EB detour.
I-10 EB Mainlanes and to Loop 1604 EB
Travelers on the I-10 EB mainlanes looking to continue through the Loop 1604 interchange will exit via Exit 556 B to the I-10 EB frontage road and turn right onto the Loop 1604 WB frontage road. They will use the turnaround at La Cantera Parkway to enter the Loop 1604 EB frontage road. They will enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes and follow signs to I-10 EB. Travelers may exit via Exit 557 to enter the I-10 EB frontage road.
I-10 WB Mainlanes
Travelers on the I-10 WB mainlanes will exit via Exit 556 B and follow the I-10 WB frontage road through the Loop 1604 interchange, re-entering the I-10 WB mainlanes via the first available entrance ramp.

Travelers on the I-10 EB frontage road looking to continue through the Loop 1604 interchange will turn right onto the Loop 1604 WB frontage road. They will use the turnaround at La Cantera Parkway to enter the Loop 1604 EB frontage road. They will enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes and follow signs to I-10 EB. Travelers may exit via Exit 557 to re-enter the I-10 EB frontage road.
