I-35 NEX Lane Closure Notice

WEEKEND CLOSURE

Friday, Oct. 4 until Monday, Oct. 7

11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Rittiman Road at I-35

WHAT TO EXPECT:

As part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Program, Rittiman Road at I-35 will be closed for drainage work.

The closure is scheduled from 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, weather permitting. This is a weekend closure, and Rittiman Road is expected to remain closed for the full duration.

DETOUR INFORMATION:

Travelers on eastbound Rittiman Road will turn south on the I-35 frontage road. Those wishing to continue east on Rittiman Road or travel north on I-35 will follow detour signs to the frontage road turnaround at George Beach Avenue.

Travelers on westbound Rittiman Road will turn north on the I-35 frontage road. Those wishing to continue west on Rittiman Road or travel south on I-35 will follow detour signs to the frontage road turnaround at Eisenhauer Road.

Note: All closures are weather permitting and subject to change.
