Major Closure Notice

ENTRY/EXIT RAMP FULL CLOSURES

Beginning 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024
until Late 2024

• Westbound Kyle Seal Parkway Exit Ramp Closure (New Exit Ramp will Open to Hausman Road)

• Westbound Entrance Ramp from Babcock Road Closure (New Temporary Entrance Ramp from Babcock Road will Open)

WHAT TO EXPECT

As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will be fully closing the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) exit ramp to Kyle Seal Parkway. A new exit ramp will open west of the closure to Hausman Road. Additionally, the WB entrance ramp from Babcock Road will be fully closed. A new temporary entrance ramp will open just west of the closure. These closures will be in place for road widening work and ramp reversal. Traffic will be directed to utilize detours during this time.

The ramp closures will begin at 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024 and last until late 2024, weather permitting. All closures are subject to change and modification as necessary.

DETOUR INFORMATION

Loop 1604 WB Mainlanes to Kyle Seale Parkway
Loop 1604 WB mainlane traffic looking to access Kyle Seal Parkway will utilize the new exit ramp to Hausman Road. Travelers can then use the dedicated U-Turn at Hausman Road to the Loop 1604 EB frontage road, and follow it back to Kyle Seale Parkway.
