Loop 1604 Westbound Mainlanes from the NW Military Highway Exit Ramp to the IH-10 Interchange

NW Military Highway at the Loop 1604 intersection
 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will fully close the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes from the NW Military Highway exit ramp to the IH-10 interchange andthe NW Military Highway intersection at Loop 1604 for rail demolition and deck breakback on the NW Military Highway bridge and to set overhangs and deck panels on the direct connector. Only a single direction, northbound (NB) or southbound (SB) will be closed at a time at the intersection.
The nightly full closure will occur 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, March 10, 2024 through Wednesday, March 13, 2024, weather permitting. Off-duty officers will direct traffic through intersections, as needed.

DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 WB mainlanes
Loop 1604 WB mainlane traffic will exit via the NW Military Highway exit ramp and continue on the Loop 1604 WB frontage road and continue through the IH-10 interchange. Traffic can re-enter the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes via the entrance ramp west of IH-10.
EB Frontage Road and NW Military Highway NB
Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) traffic to NW Military Highway (FM 1535) NB and NW Military Highway NB traffic itself will take the Loop 1604 EB frontage road to turnaround at Bitters Road. Traffic will continue on the Loop 1604 WB frontage road back to NW Military Highway NB.
WB Frontage Road and NW Military Highway SB
Loop 1604 WB traffic to NW Military Highway (FM 1535) SB and NW Military Highway SB traffic itself will take the Loop 1604 WB frontage road to turnaround at Lockhill Selma Road. Traffic will continue on the Loop 1604 WB frontage road back to NW Military Highway SB

Loop 1604 Eastbound Mainlanes from the Bitters Road Exit Ramp to the Stone Oak Parkway Entrance Ramp
 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will fully close the Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) mainlanes from the Bitters Road exit ramp to the Stone Oak Parkway entrance ramp for a moving barriers.
The full nightly closure will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2024 through Saturday, March 16, 2024, weather permitting. All closures are subject to change and modification as necessary.

DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 EB mainlane traffic will utilize the Bitters Road exit ramp and continue on the EB frontage road through the intersections of Bitters Road, Huebner Road, Blanco Road, and Stone Oak Parkway then re-enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes via the entrance ramp east of Stone Oak Parkway.

Loop 1604 Westbound Mainlanes from the Lockhill Selma Road Exit Ramp to IH-10
 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will fully close the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes from the Lockhill Selma Road exit ramp to the IH-10 interchange for deck pour on the westbound direct-connector.
The nightly full closure will occur 9 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2024 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, weather permitting.

DETOUR INFORMATION
WB mainlane travelers will exit via the Lockhill Selma Road exit ramp. Traffic will continue on the WB frontage road through the Lockhill Selma Road, Vance Jackson Road, and IH-10 intersections and can re-enter the WB mainlanes via the entrance ramp west of IH-10.
